That’s Lit began in 2018 as a radio show on Triple H 100.1FM in Sydney’s north shore.
It was created by Sharon “Shazzie Dee” Masige who initially wanted to host a show that discussed all things books and literature (hence the name ‘That’s Lit’).
But after getting behind mic, Shazzie Dee decided to focus on her two other loves – music and talking to people.
That’s Lit was on air on Friday nights from 8pm, with Shazzie Dee playing the hottest music tracks from the 90s and 2000s, and interviewing a range of diverse guests including actor Chika Ikogwe and singer Tarisai Vushe.
In 2020, That’s Lit officially ended as a radio show and transitioned fully into a YouTube channel and podcast.
That’s Lit is all about celebrating people of colour in Australia – their talents, their businesses or their achievements – and learning something new along the way.
