In this episode of That’s Lit I caught up with Neal Mercer, the first pro wrestler from Mauritius!
Neal shared his journey from being a pro wrestling fan (and aspiring Olympic swimmer) to eventually joining the sport. He described the process involved in becoming a pro wrestler, the meaning behind his nickname ‘The Engine’ and his ultimate goal with pro wrestling.
The interview comes ahead of Neal’s Pro Wrestling Australia (PWA) debut at The Climb, a match held at Sydney’s Liberty Hall on Friday 28 August.
